Shraddha Kapoor was born on 3rd March 1987 in Mumbai to Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kapoor. Her elder brother is Siddhanth Kapoor. Shakti Kapoor her father is a great villain in Bollywood Movies and her mon is also a Bollywood heroine.
Sharddha Kapoor is from a great Family, she is a great-niece of the Mangeshkar Siblings including the great singer Lata Mangeshkar, Asha, Meena, Usha, and Hridayanth.
Shraddha become an actress at a Young age, she loves acting from her childhood when a small she used to wear her parents clothes and rehearse film dance, dialogues in front of the mirror.
Shraddha used to go to shootings Locations with her father, during that time David Dhawan’s shoots she met Actor Varun Dhawan there, she make friends and daily played with him and danced to Bollywood songs with him.
Shraddha Kapoor at Age of 15 shifted to the American School of Bombay for her schooling at Jamnanabai Narsee School. Her schoolmates also include Athiya Shetty and Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff.
Athiya Shetty revealed in an interview that, in their school days they used to participate in competitive games like handball, Soccer. And in school time Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger shroff had a crush on each other but they never proposed to each other.
Shraddha Kapoor Graduation from Boston University in Psychology, but she left in freshman year to enter into the Bollywood movies to make her first debut.
When she was 16, shraddha got an offer for her first film by Salman Khan, But she rejected the proposal because she want to become a Psychologist.

Shraddha Kapoor made her Debut in 2010 with Teen Patti, along with Amitabh Bachchan, R. Madhavan and Ben Kingsley. In Teen Patti She Played the role of a College girl, but the Movie faced a flop, plus point of the movie is Shraddha Kapoor acting, public like her acting very much.

She played the role of Aarohi Keshav a small town bar singer, who becomes a successful Playback singer with the Help of (Hero) Popular Male singer this character is played by Aditya Roy Kapur. This movie got a major box office success with a global revenue of 1.9 billion.
In 2014 Shraddha did a thriller movie Ek Villain with director Mohit suri, for that movie Shraddha sang a song “Galliyan” and the song got so much craz and the movie collected 1 billion. This movie is plagiarized from a Korean movie called I Saw The Devil
Second Release in 2014 a movie of Vishal Bhardwaj critically acclaimed drama “Haider” Adaptation of William shakespeare’s Hamlet, set during Kashmir Conflict of 1995.
Shraddha played role of Ophelia- based character a journalist Arshia with opposite role of co-actor shahid kapoor and tabu. And also that year appeared in karan johar’s movie thriller Ungli.
In 2015, Shraddha kapoor starred in a sequel of a Dance Film ABCD : Any Body Can Dance, entitled with ABCD 2 her role is a hip hop dancer with co-actor Varun dhawan (role of suresh mukund).

It is a rock musical movie Rock On 2 a sequel to the 2008 movie Rock on but the movie got flop near the box office. Rock On 2 did not Recoup ist $50 million Investment.
In 2017 Shraddha did a Romatic drama Movie called Ok Janu with Co-actor Aditya Roy kapur directed by Shaad Ali. This movie is a remake of Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie O Kadhal Kanmani, that film produced by Karan Johar, Ok Jaanu movie got huge success.
And she did Half Girl Friend Movie in the same Year with the opposite pair of Arjun Kapoor, its based on chetan bhagat’s novel of the name and the movie directed by Mohit Suri and the movie got excellent success the songs were very good loved by people.
In 2018 Shraddha Kapoor Starred opposite Rajkummar Rao in a comedy Horror Movie “Stree” based on the Nale Ba Legend. The movie featured has a Mysterious unnamed Woman who falls in love with Rao’s Character. That movie got huge Success with gross earnings 1.7 billion.
