Early Life
Yagna Shetty born on 19 November 1987 in Kudremukh, Karnataka. To Umesh Shetty and Jayanti Shetty, she have three siblings – Gayatri, Mahalaxmi and Ashwini.
She Completed her schooling in Kendriya school in panambur, College at SDM college Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) course in Mangalore. After that she completed her graduation at Manipal university, MBA Finance (Master of Business Administration).
Career
In 2007 Yagna Shetty Debut her movie in Kannada film called Ondu Preethiya kathe dubbed into Hindi, she got female lead role opposite of co-actor Shanker Aryan. This film got good reviews.
In 2009, she did two films Eddelu Manjunatha and Love Guru, Yagna Shetty played role Gowri in Eddelu Manjunatha opposite of Jaggesh and for that film she received the Filmfare Special Award.
Yagna Shetty had two releases in 2010 one was “Sugreeva” with opposite co-actor Shiva Rajkumar. And next film was “Convincing”, Kari Chirathe she played role of bharathi with co-actor Duniya Vijay the story based on love with a Mentally Unstable person.
In 2011 Yagna did three movies one of them, one was a comedy film Kalla Malla Sulla. In 2014 Kwatle was released but the movie and Yagna’s role received negative Reviews from critics, She played supporting the role of Sharada in Ulidavaru Kandanthe movie and the other movie was Sadagara.
In 2015 – 2018 Yagna Shetty Acted in many movies in Telugu and Kannada. Here it is the movie list : “Ramabai”(Biopic of Ramabai) she is the first wife of Dr. Ambedkar, this movie was released and the movie got good reviews.
Another movie was “Killing Veerappan” Role ad Muthulakshmi wife of Veerappan and the movie directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Love Junction, H/34 Pallavi Talkies, and she did Octopus Movie.
Yagna Shetty make her debut in Television with daily soap Vaarasdaara and she played a mother character in that Serial.
In 2019 Yagna Shetty’s Upcoming Movies in Telugu & Kannada are Lakshmi’s NTR directed by RGV and the movie releasing on 29 March 2019, Operation Nakshatra.
