Suman was born on 23 November 1998 at Aaidana, Udaipur and Brought up in Mumbai.

In 2019 she represented the state of Rajasthan at the56th Femina Miss India 2019 Pageant and won the title.
Former miss India Anukeerthy vas crowned her successor Suman Rao.
Femina Miss India was hosted by Bollywood producer Karan Johar, manish Paul and 2017 Miss world Manushi Chillar.
During the Pageant, she won the Miss Rampwalk award.
She is going to represent India at Miss worlds 2019 pageant which is going to held in Pattaya, Thailand on 7th December 2019.
