He has two elder sisters one is Former Miss Universe and Popular Bollywood Actress Sushmita Sen and the other Neelima Sen who is also a Film Actress.

As his father was an Air Force officer, Rajeev completed his higher and Pre-University education from Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi.
