Manju Childhood
Manju Warrier was born on 10 September 1978 in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, India. Madhavan Warrier is her father. He is an accountant. She did her schooling at CSI Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil, Tamilnadu.
Later, they shifted to Kerala and settled in Kannur. She went to Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur and Chovva Higher Secondary School. She is a brilliant student in studies. She secured 527/600 marks in SSLC. with a 98% score in Mathematics.
She is graduated from Sree Narayana College, Kannur through distance learning. Madhu Warrier is her elder brother, who is an actor and producer
Manju Career
Warrier was a very good dancer. She got ‘Kalathilakam’ award in the Kerala Youth Festival for two years. She made her debut in television serial Moharavam. This serial was telecasted on Doordarshan
She has acted in more than 20 films in less than 3 years. She became the Lady Super Star of Mollywood with the character ‘Unnimaya‘ in Mohanlal starer ‘Aram Thamburan’
Her debut movie is Sakshyam. She did this film at the age of 17, in the year 1995. Later at the age of 18, she acted in the movie Sallapam, co-star Dileep.
She acted in many Malayalam movies which made her won many awards and rewards. She became a very famous actress in Mollywood.
Manju Warrier Marriage/ Affairs
She is married to Dileep, also known as Gopalakrishnan Padmanabhan Pillai, is an Indian film actor, producer, singer, and businessman. He primarily works in the Malayalam film industry. He worked as an assistant to the famous director Kamal and got popular in the industry.
She stopped acting in films after marriage in 1998 with Dileep. The couple has a daughter Meenakshi. Because of some reasons, they divorced in 2015.
Manju Warrier Comeback
She started her second innings with a block buster commercial hit movie “How Old Are You?”. This movie has also brought her 5th Filmfare award for best actress in Malayalam.
She did many commercials as well. One of her commercial ads was with Kalyan Jewellers. She did this alongside Amitabh Bacchan, Aishwarya Rai, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Prabhu Ganesan.
