Early life
St. Singh was born on August 21, 1977, in Patna, Bihar. She belongs to the middle-class Hindu family. She wanted to enter the film industry as a child, but working in film was not so easy, so she started focussing on studies more.
She received her early education in her hometown, after which she graduated in mass communication from Patna Women’s College, Bihar.
Since childhood, Sweta was a good storyteller. She started her career by writing articles for local newspapers. She wrote articles for the Times of India and Hindustan Times newspaper as a journalist while studying.
Career
In 1998, she moved to New Delhi and started her career in the electronic media.
Initially, she worked with New groups like Zee News, Sahara News. In 2002, she joined a Hindi channel “Aaj Tak” as a news presenter.
Sweta Singh is married to Sanket Kotkar, a manager in a Private Limited company. She met Sanket during a family program. Before marriage, they dated a few years. This couple is blessed with a daughter.
