In the early 1990s, Kriti moved to Bangalore with her family. She completed her schooling from Baldwin Girls High School, Bangalore. Later, she went to Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian College.
She did her graduation from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College. She obtained her diploma in Jeweler Designing. She started her acting career as a model in a showbiz world during her university days.
She has been worked with famous TV commercials such as “Fair & Lovely”, “Spar”, and “Bhima Jewelers”. In 2009, she made her film debut with director Raj Pippalla’s Tollywood action movie “Boni” opposite actor Sumanth in the lead role.
Even though the movie didn’t hit the box office, her performance was highly appreciated by the critics. She got a breakthrough with a Tollywood film “Ala Modalaindi” in 2011. She appeared in a small role as Simran.
After that, she has appeared in several Tollywood films such as “Om 3D”, “Mr. Nookayya”, “Ongole Gittha”, “Bruce Lee-The Fighter”, and etc. In the year 2010, she kicked off her Kannada film journey with a romantic action film “Chirru” which was directed by Mahesh Babu.
The movie earned a decent box office collection. Then after, she got numerous opportunities in the film industry and acted in hit movies like “Prem Adda”, “Googly”, and “Super Range”.
Currently, the actress is working with the Bollywood Film Industry. She entered the Bollywood industry in 2016 with a horror thriller movie “Raaz Reboot” alongside Gaurav Arora and playboy Emraan Hashmi.
In 2017, she acted in 2 Bollywood films, the romantic comedy “Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana”, and the comedy-drama movie “Guest in London”. Currently, she is working on her two upcoming Bollywood films “Karwan” and “Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se” which is yet to be released in 2019.
