Anam Mirza is the younger sister of Indian famous tennis player, Sania Mirza. She is the stylist of her sister Sania Mirza, as she knows well about her sister’s likes-dislikes and also her body type.

Biography/ Education

Anam Mirza was born on 24 February 1993 in Hyderabad, India. She was born into a Hyderabadi Muslim family. Her parents are father Imran Mirza and mother Naseema Mirza. Her father is a sports journalist and mother is an entrepreneur in the printing business.

She completed her bachelor of a degree from St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad. Her active participation in shooting helped to get a seat in this college under sports quota.

Further, she did her Masters in Journalism and PR. She had done an internship with the popular media houses like India Today and NDTV.

In 2013, she has been launched a website called “Ink to Change”, for aspiring journalists where they can write their independent thoughts and reports. She is famous for being a younger sister of Indian Professional Tennis Player Sania Mirza, who married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.

Anam and her family mostly believe in the Islamic religion. On 18 November 2016, she got married to her longtime boyfriend Akbar Rasheed, in a royal Muslim wedding ceremony. He is a Hyderabad based businessman.

At the wedding of Anam Mirza and Akbar Rasheed, many Bollywood stars are invited as a special guest. Salman Khan, Pareeniti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor are the special guests of the wedding ceremony.

After getting married to Akbar Rasheed, she started a business and entrepreneurship through launching “The Label Bazaar” Fashion Company. Now, she is called as the “Most Stylish Entrepreneur of India”.

Anam considers “The Label Bazaar” as a Fashion Exhibition for all the human being from every age including children to adults. It was inaugurated by her elder sister Sania Mirza. In a result, it became a platform for all new fashion designers of Hyderabad and as well as the whole country.

While everything is going fine professionally as well as personally, Anam Mirza is having trouble in her personal life. Now, after one and a half year of marital bliss, Anam and Akbar have decided to split-up and part their ways.

The reason for the split is still unknown but the divorce proceedings have come through. Apart from that, Anam is focusing on being the stylist for her sister and running her fashion company.

Sania Mirza shared in her Instagram when her baby sister got married and she posted a lovely twinning image of wedding ceremony with a caption, “My baby is a married woman now, but will always remain my baby sister I love you @anammirzaak  …you made for the most beautiful bride in the whole wide world.”

In a wedding ceremony, many Indian Film actors like Salman Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Farah Khan Kunder, Arjun Kapoor, Harshavardhan Rane, and many other celebrities have been performed in the sangeet function.

For the wedding, while Anam and Akbar opted for color-coordinated outfits, bride’s sister, Sania and her hubby, Shoaib Malik also looked like a made-for-each-other couple as they were twinning in red outfits.

Anam Mirza earlier talked about how Akbar proposed her for the wedding and said that she always had been a movie-like proposal in mind. So that she was waiting for a filmy proposal from her boyfriend Akbar, while they are all set to get engaged.

She was left wondering for not having a movie-like proposal from Akbar and her expectations on the proposal are left after the invites were out.

Akbar then confessed that he knew Anam is very filmy so he planned this grand proposal at Falaknuma Palace on August 27, after their engagement was announced by the family.

The couple came on a chariot, the red carpet was rolled out for her, and there were roses and all of that. Also, he got a jeweled crown for her. And then, he went down on knees and asked her ‘Will you marry me?’ as the violins playing in the background. There were flexes with ‘Will you marry me?’ too.

Sania was the happiest person during her sister wedding and even wished the bride with a successful life. But there is no confirmation about the divorce from both the parties; the news has certainly come as a shock to her loved ones.

Sources said that both the families have given the go ahead for the marriage. The two Asad and Anam had recently been to Dubai also and the former posted cosy pictures of the two on the social media terming the latter as an ‘Amazing woman’.

This incidentally will be the second marriage for Anam. She had earlier got married in 2016 to businessman Akbar Rasheed. However the two divorced in 2018. Sources stated that it was only in April last year that Asad and Anam started dating and developed a fondness for one another.
